This is a beautifully sculptural and rare pocket watch holder, found in Provence. It has a carved cup behind the front opening to hold the pocket watch, and is very finely carved. Primarily a pale green, it has remnants of gilding. Some losses, but so beautiful and intricately detailed that they are not noticeable.
