This Certified Pre-Owned ladies Octagon features a stainless steel and solid 18K gold case with octagonal bezel, classic white Roman dial with blue steel "epee" hands, sapphire topped crown, and mechanical movement.
Unlike the quartz version of the Santos, this more desirable mechanical example possesses an automatic movement and in a way showcases the timeless art of traditional watch making.
It is all-original and presents as gorgeous condition. The band has fairly mild to moderate stretch - otherwise it presents as about a 9.6 out of 10. On the wrist it presents nearly like new.
Its case presents as just short of perfect mint condition. Unlike many examples it still strongly retains its original lightly stamped serial number. On the wrist it presents as mint. Its untouched original dial is also mint. The bracelet has fairly mild to moderate stretch. With the exception of the bit of stretch the complete watch presents like new on the wrist.
It has been freshly fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker (a $495 value). It is keeping time nearly on par with a brand new Cartier watch in our testing position.
The waterproofing gaskets in these are known for making the watch quite difficult to wind even after servicing. That is not the case with this one - it winds without difficulty. If you would prefer never to hand wind the small crown, it's a great candidate to be placed on a watch winder for convenience.
