Overview:
Finely detailed antique Mid-Victorian fob (circa 1860s to 1870s) crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.
The beautifully detailed antique watch key fob was originally worn by a gentleman with a pocket watch. The key would have wound the movement of the pocket watch. The key features a wonderful heavy chased scrolling foliate pattern with small shell details. The key fob is great worn as a pendant of a chain or attached to a charm bracelet.
The fob is in very good condition with patina and wear evident. We have not cleaned the fob in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

Metal & Hallmark: 18 karat yellow gold. The fob is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 18 karat gold.
