The Akios Airpower 435 GTR is a supreme all-rounder surf fishing rod, measuring in at 14ft, with a powerful butt and mid-section that progressively blends into a sensitive glass tip for superb bite detection.
Suitable for all casting styles including a simple over-head thump, off-the-ground, or a more powerful pendulum cast with leads between 4-8oz and suitable for clean, mixed and rough ground, the Akios Airpower GTR is a hugely versatile fishing rod designed for the serious fishers.
When developing the GTR there was one primary objective, to develop a true all-rounder fishing rod suitable for varied fishing situations, one that offers ample power to cast large baits for large fish if needed, yet is equally capable of flicking out lighter baits, and offering the feel and feedback through the blank to maximise the enjoyment of the fight.
